Pastor Description and Duties

Develop the congregation into a growing family of members who base their beliefs on the Word of God and Jesus Christ as instructed by the Holy Bible.
Collaborate with the Church Board to grow the mission of serving the Pine Village community.
Support and mentor the Elders and Deacons to provide a loving and caring ministry, deliver the Sunday message, coordinate the Sunday services, and lead a Sunday school class and Bible study.
Offer the promise of Baptism, perform wedding ceremonies, and console families in bereavement through funeral services.
Work with the elders and deacons to serve other church member needs, such as hospital and nursing home visits.
Utilizing the Studio Go committee chair, the Pastor will continue the local mission of Studio Go, the successful after school program bringing children to the Word of God.

Pastor Kristi Mitchell

Pastor Kristi has been involved in a variety of ministry roles over the past 25 years, including pastoral ministry with the Lafayette Church of the Brethren. She is serving Pine Village Bible Church in a bi-vocational capacity and will continue in her role in the Headstart program.

She lives in rural Warren County with her husband, Jay. She is always willing to sharing her love for Jesus Christ with new friends and neighbors in the Pine Village community.
