Advent Season

Advent is the first season the the Christian calendar. It includes the four Sundays before Christmas and ends on Christmas Eve. Advent marks the preparation for Christmas, the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ and His Second Coming.

This year for the Advent season we are attempting to be more purposeful in the care of our communities and those in need. We are taking up offerings of donations of needed items for specific organizations as well as our regular offering.

Carry-in Lunch & Decorating 11/23/2025

This Sunday we will be having a carry-in lunch after the service and decorating the church for the Christmas season.

1st Sunday of Advent 11/30/2025

For the first Sunday in Advent, we will be collecting a special offering for a PVES Christmas family.

2nd Sunday of Advent 12/7/2025

For the second Sunday in Advent, we will be collecting over-the-counter medications and cleaning supplies for Hope Springs Safe House in Attica.

Caroling Saturday 12/13/2025

Weather permitting, we hope to be caroling around the town from 5-7pm. Plenty of hot chocolate will be provided, but probably no figgy pudding. Come join the fun!!

3rd Sunday of Advent 12/14/2025

Recover from all the caroling, hot chocolate, and treats from the night before.

4th Sunday of Advent 12/21/2025

For the Fourth Sunday in Advent, we will be having a cookie exchange and the Christmas Program.

Candlelight Service 12/24/2025

The Christmas Eve Candlelight service will be at 7pm. Please come join us for this wonderful event.
